Alex Valderrama - Shift Lead

Meet Alex, our Shift Lead! She has a big heart for animals and a true passion for providing compassionate care to every patient and client who enter our doors.

She enjoys her role of supporting the BHAH team, works hard to keep everything running smoothly, and helps set the tone with hospitality, ensuring our patients and their families feel cared for and supported during their visits with us.

Outside of work, her biggest joy is being a mom to her daughter. She is also team cat AND team dog!. She's got two purry palls Tapatio and Neko, as well as a scruffy dog named Churro, who keeps life entertaining with his endless energy and goofy personality. While juggling all of her babies, there’s never a dull moment! Having a little family of pets reminds her every day how special the bond between people and their animals truly is.

For Alex, being part of veterinary medicine means more to her than just caring for animals. She believes the work we do is all about compassion, teamwork, patience, and advocating for the pets who depend on us. She is truly proud to help make the difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them, and we surely love having her as a leader as well!
