If your pet needs diagnostics beyond an external exam, our office can perform x-rays and ultrasounds to image internal organs and bone structure.
X-rays and ultrasounds can also provide information about litter size and delivery dates for pregnancy. Some X-rays and ultrasounds can be performed as office visits, however some require anesthesia and a hospital stay in order to obtain the best views.
If an orthopedic evaluation is needed due to some injury or condition, x-rays will provide the doctor with information necessary to help you make a decision regarding your pet's health.
Orthopedic Foundation of America
We also work with the Orthopedic Foundation of America to check your dog for hip and elbow dysplasia. It is highly recommended that you have these areas checked as the problems they often have are hereditary.
